A WOMAN found hiding under a bed after a 48-hour manhunt has been jailed alongside a man who stabbed a 66-year-old victim in Islington.
Leah Campbell-Knechtel, 28, and Jawad Naser, 47, were each sentenced to 10 years in prison at the Old Bailey after being convicted of grievous bodily harm with intent. The attack happened on January 18 after a dispute over money, the police said.
Ms Campbell-Knechtel went to the victim’s flat, claiming she wanted to make peace before opening the door for Mr Naser and handing him a kitchen knife from the property.
Mr Naser stabbed the victim multiple times, leaving him with life-threatening injuries that required emergency surgery.
The Met police said its officers found Ms Campbell-Knechtel hiding under a bedframe at a property in Muswell Hill.
