THE politics YouTube channel connected to the Islington Tribune has raced past more than 2.5 million views.

The channel, Peeps, takes the paper’s spirit and goes beyond the borough’s boundaries.

It has also included podcast-style interviews with politicians, trade union leaders and activists.

Recent films have included interviews with Dame Emily Thornberry about the direction of the Labour Party after a bruising first year back in power, and Zack Polanski, the leader of the Green Party.

In clips uploaded this week, Mr Polanski (above) is asked about whether his party will be forming electoral pacts.
