EIGHT fire engines fought a blaze in an IT server room at London Metropolitan University in the early hours yesterday (Thursday).
Firefighters managed to prevent the 5am blaze spreading to adjacent rooms at the Holloway Road campus. Station manager Richard Arnold said: “Thankfully, no one was involved, but the university have confirmed that lessons in the Tower complex and enrolment will be suspended today [Thursday].”
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
