It is painful to witness the twisted attacks on Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party

• THANK you for your Comment (Corbyn, a leader under siege, April 6). As the daughter of a Jewish woman whose parents fled pogroms, it is painful to me to witness the twisted attacks on Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party. This is belittling to the sufferings of Jewish people.
Racism in all its forms is abhorrent and, sadly, still at work everywhere. Of course, it should always be challenged, but what seems to be happening is that a pernicious concoction of lies and disinformation by a variety of interest groups has been encouraged to foment, like an etching where what you omit or take out or suggest leaves certain impressions, for which the mainstream media must accept a large part of the responsibility.
I say to them: tell the truth. Isn’t Palestine as deserving of the truth too. Mr Corbyn is a man of great principle. He has too much integrity for his cynical opponents. He will not buckle.
