• WITH regard to replacing the 274 single-decker bus with a double-decker, I for one do hope that it will go ahead, (Keep the 274 as a single decker bus, August 16).

It is a very busy route at times, serving Islington Angel, Camden Town and market, Primrose Hill, London Zoo, Central London Mosque and the Marble Arch end of Oxford Street.

The present, outdated, and poorly maintained single-deckers are not fit for purpose any more. A double-decker with more passenger capacity, will enable us to travel more comfortably and have lovely views if we go upstairs!
