• READING the report of planned redundancies at Capital City College Group (News, June 18), can I just point out that this group also shut down their long-running nursery at their Westminster Kingsway Regent’s Park site during the pandemic.

This nursery had been running for years with many of the practitioners having positions there for at least 20 plus years. They were a dedicated team who went through many Ofsted inspections, always coming out with good ratings.

The nursery had strong connections to the Camden early years team and highly regarded by early years advisers. We had little notice of these redundancies and the group did nothing to help find new premises.
