The old Holloway Prison site now set for redevelopment

• ON behalf of Peabody I’d like to thank everyone who took part in the recent public consultation on the draft masterplan for the former Holloway Prison site.

We had over 150 responses and the feedback has been very valuable as we develop our proposals for the site.

We will be consulting for a final time, our sixth formal consultation event, during October ahead of submitting a planning application in November.

Getting to this point has taken a lot of time and effort from local residents and community groups.

We are very grateful for this effort and will continue to talk to anyone and everyone interested in the project post submission.

Although we are nearing the end of the pre-submission phase of the project, it is not the end of the conversation.

Following the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions, we’re pleased to be able to host regular guided tours of the former prison.

If you have any further views or thoughts the feedback forms are still open, but we will be closing them soon ahead of the October consultation.
