• FOR the last several weeks a neighbour has been keeping a puppy out in his back yard at all hours and in all weathers.

Animal welfare say they have visited but cannot do anything because the dog “looks all right”. So they say we just have to report the barking to the noise team.

It has already been reported to them, by neighbours, several times. But nothing has been done. Footage of the dog scratching at the door has also been submitted.

Sadly the animal welfare “service” is not fit for purpose as it does not recognise serious neglect – and the stress it causes – as abuse.
