• TWO Islington teenagers Bess Standing and Evie Bebbington chalked a special thank you to Andrew, their neighbourhood street sweeper.

Andrew was delighted to get a special mention from Gallia Road residents in chalk.

Bess said, “We just wanted to say thank you to all the incredibly brave key workers who are continuing to work and bring hope to the community; including our lovely street cleaner Andrew who always has a smile on his face.”

Bess and Evie also chalked a rainbow on a nearby wall which has managed to escape the rain. And the street will continue to join in the ClapForOurCarers, as they have every week.
