A MAN is in hospital after a double hit-and-run left him fighting for his life.

Police are appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage and information after the man was hit by two separate cars in Finsbury Park in the early hours of Monday.

The man, who police describe as being in his late 20s, was knocked down at the junction of Seven Sisters Road and Blackstock Road.

Police say an Audi and a Zip hire car were involved in the collisions.

The man was rushed to hospital and officers from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating. No arrests have yet been made.
