A WOMAN is calling for witnesses to come forward after she was hit by a motorbike, leaving her with concussion and a snapped collarbone.

Emma Codd was crossing Seven Sisters Road, near the junction with Holloway Road, in November last year when she was suddenly struck.

Ms Codd spent almost a week in St Mary’s Hospital trauma unit drifting in and out of consciousness before she was stable enough to be released.

The 46-year-old said: “When I left the hospital I couldn’t do anything. My mum had to cut up my food for me. I can’t smell and I sleep a lot, the pain is quite tiring.”

Ms Codd added: “I want any witnesses to come forward. The police have closed the case because they cannot find any. It is just a really unfortunate moment with a blindspot for any CCTV footage. Accidents like this must happen all the time, it’s a long straight road. It could have been so much worse for me.”
