A HOLLOWAY rubbish dump became a police scene after a pensioner was arrested on suspicion of preventing a lawful burial.
Officers were called to Blackstock Road on Monday morning to “possibly skeletal remains” found by a resident in the street.
Forensic scenes were set up at a home on the road, as well as at a refuse site in Edmonton and the Hornsey Street waste transfer and recycling centre.
A 78-year-old man was arrested but has been released under investigation.
Police were still investigating at the Holloway branch on Wednesday, but it had partially reopened.
