Foxes are not ‘nice pets’

• FARMERS’ concerns about foxes are always dismissed, but they can do terrible damage, in particular killing lambs.

Foxes are killers. They are wild animals and we must not pretend they are nice pets. They carry disease such as mange. They will kill chickens and birds. They can cause damage to property when they tunnel underneath a house.

Lots of people don’t want them culled in a humane way but no one seems to care about domestic animals being killed in a cruel way.
