THIS week is “indie news week”, a national event with the slogan: No news is bad news.
Organised by the Public Interest News Foundation, it is a celebration of independent titles like the Islington Tribune ­– which go against the grain of big business and the media conglomerates’ relentless drive to make as much money as possible.
