A CELEBRITY chef whipped up a delicious meal for dozens of children as he visited Barnard Park Community Hub.
Giorgio Locatelli, who has won a Michelin star and headed up restaurants across London, prepared homemade ravioli for local kids last week as part of a healthy eating initiative.
His visit marked the start of the Holiday Activities with Food (HAF) winter programme, which has been organised by Islington Council, where children can participate in sports, crafts, and theatre visits as well as getting a free lunch.

Speaking at the event, Mr Locatelli said that he hoped “to inspire children and their families to cook healthy and nutritious food”.
He said: “It [cooking] doesn’t have to be seen as an enemy or something far away.
“The more they are confident with that, the better their diet will be, I am sure of that.”
