• ISLINGTON has too many charities that provide similar services or ones that supply specialist services.

Each charity has a management structure and admin costs, so much is squandered. If there was one charity running everything then they would save on management. Every penny spent on management is a penny not spent on the person the charity is meant to help.

Also, it would be really nice to know how much of Islington Council’s £23million-plus social care bill goes on management costs.
