TOWN Hall leader Richard Watts has given his support to the Tribune’s Hamper Appeal.

Every year this newspaper runs an appeal that aims to ensure no one is forgotten during the festive period.

Your donations pay for special deliveries of Christmas hampers, filled with goodies that help to bring festive cheer to every inch of Islington.

“Well done to the Islington Tribune for running the Hamper Appeal in 2016,” said Cllr Watts.

“Too many older people in Islington will be alone this Christmas and I am delighted to support this opportunity to bring some much-needed joy to many people’s lives.”

As well as asking for donations from our generous readers, we are also urging you to nominate someone you feel should receive a hamper, perhaps an older person living alone or a single parent family you think may be struggling.

PayPal donations can be made via the Christmas Hamper button on our homepage, or cheques (made payable to ‘Islington Tribune Hamper Fund’) to Islington Tribune Hamper Fund, 40 Camden Road, NW1 9DR

Email hamperappeal@islingtontribune.co.uk to nominate someone to receive a hamper.
