NURSERY school­children gleefully put a range of play equipment to the test this week at a small park that’s been given a new lease of life. A £140,000 investment has seen Compton Park, in Clerkenwell, over­hauled with new play equipment, improved footpaths, more grassed areas and a new entrance. The park was reopened on Tuesday by Islington deputy mayor Councillor Una O’Halloran and environment chief Councillor Claudia Webbe
