ISLINGTON’S Eilidh Murray (left) and Gönül Ekmekçi Tekin have both been named Cycling Champions by the charity Cycling UK for their work promoting female riders. Ms Murray chairs the trustees for London Cycling Campaign while Ms Tekin was a key organiser of the first-ever Women’s Freedom Ride in March.
