JEREMY Corbyn will be Your Party’s parliamentary leader after his supporters won a power struggle election battle with those backing fellow MP Zarah Sultana.
More broadly the new left-wing party will be run by a collective leadership model and Mr Corbyn’s slate of candidates – called The Many – won 14 of the 24 places on a central executive committee in results announced yesterday (Thursday).
Ms Zultana, the Coventry South MP, was also elected onto the CEC.
The Islington North MP and former leader of the Labour Party said it was time to “get Your Party back on track”, adding: “I am delighted that members have voted for a mass, socialist party that takes the fight to Starmer and Farage. The real work starts now.”
