The fox cub recovers after it was released from a fence panel by firefighters
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a fox cub stuck in a fence panel in Highgate Village on Saturday.
The animal was discovered wedged between fencing in a garden in The Grove. Firefighters used specialist equipment to help free the fox before calling the RSPCA to take care of him.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “We would always urge people to contact the RSPCA if they see an animal stuck or in distress. If the RSPCA require our assistance, they will call us and we are happy to assist with our specialist equipment.”
