Daisy’s treemendous lockdown messages
Six-year-old brings cheer to neighbours - and police officers - with uplifting decorations

A SIX-YEAR-OLD girl helped cheer up her neighbours during the coronavirus lockdown by decorating a tree with uplifting messages.
Daisy Martin and her mother Vicky Lawson (pictured) have seen scores of passers-by add to their “Positivitree” in Monsell Road, Finsbury Park.
The pair started with the words “Happy”, “Safe”, “Friendly” and “Joy” and left a box of the wooden circles and pens for others to add their words.
Vicky said: “One time I looked outside the window and saw the police. They had all their notepads and I thought, ‘we’re going to get into trouble’.
“So I came out and said, ‘really sorry, do I need to take it all down?’ The police officer said, ‘no, no, we’re just adding to it’.”
