NATIONAL Education Union (NEU) members working in City and Islington Sixth Form College will be taking a day of strike action next Wednesday, November 20, to demand more funding for their students and their colleges.

NEU spokeswoman Pippa Dowswell said that sixth form colleges in England are “on their knees” as they receive seperate funding from mainstream education.
