Decisions on future of Holloway prison site

The former Holloway Prison site
• SINCE Peabody housing association bought the former Holloway Prison site last April, Community Plan for Holloway (CPFH) representatives have held monthly meetings with them about what the community would like to see on the site, based on what local people have told us during the two and a half years we have been campaigning around this issue.
Tomorrow – Saturday March 7, between 2pm and 4pm – CPFH will hold an open public meeting (our AGM) at St George’s Church in Crayford Road. We will update everyone on what Peabody is planning for the site, including the Women’s Building, and on their consultation process.
The meeting will also share the activity of the working groups, and how to get involved in them, and provide an opportunity for attendees to vote on what democratic structure CPFH should adopt going forward.
We are at a key staging post in the Community Plan and we want all those who live or work locally to have a say about how the Holloway Prison site is re-designed, built and run, so that it benefits our community.
Everybody is welcome to come and get involved! If you cannot make the meeting then please keep updated at www.plan4holloway.org
