Boris Johnson

• IMAGINE if massive donations from Russians had been made not to Boris Johnson and the Tory Party but to Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party and that Corbyn had attended a sex party in Italy at the invitation of said Russians, arriving for his flight home sans luggage, sans security detail, partially undressed and massively hung over.

The furore would have been apocalyptic and would have been followed by Corbyn being expelled from the Labour Party several times by Sir Keir Starmer and even a trial for treason.

Instead we see a servile shrug from a pusillanimous public, and a craven media of every kind which has been bought and paid for.

This is the desperate reality of our country now.
