A CYCLING club for people with learning disabilities is raising money to buy specialist bikes.

Pedal Power is an organisation offering its members safe off-road cycling in Finsbury Park. Founder Jo Roach is hoping to buy two new specialist bikes that allow two people to cycle side-by-side.

The bikes are extremely popular among members of the cycle club, but at just under £5,000 each, they don’t come cheap.

The fundraiser, launched on Crowdfunder last month, has so far raised more than £4,300 – and has 24 days left to raise the remaining sum.
