What do tourists think of this mess?

Rubbish conditions

‘York Way is a tip, what kind of impression does this make for visitors to London?’

• We have been writing to Network Rail repeatedly regarding the disgusting condition of parts of King’s Cross station, especially the specific area used by The Evening Standard to store their materials on York Way.

No one has responded, so we thought it might help to name and shame them! See the photograph (above) taken on the York Way side of the station. Frankly you can go out on just about any day to find this mess.

What makes it even worse is a certain complicity with Camden Council as it neglects to put any trash bins along York Way on the Camden side, and Islington Council as they have no bins on their side of York Way either.

It’s such a tip, that someone even stopped to urinate (there is a photograph)! What kind of impression does this make for visitors to London?

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan should comment. Or frankly George Osborne of The Evening Standard who also has not responded to our letters. This is a story of incompetence.
