A DOCTORS’ practice is once again getting a seasonal makeover as members of the Knit Nat club yarnbomb its railings with an array of orange and gold leaves.

Committed crocheters have been working on the project at their weekly gatherings and revealed the finished artwork at the Goodinge Practice last Friday. “It felt like an enormous accomplishment,” said Vicky Lee, who has been a member for the past two years. “I enjoyed knitting the daffodils in the spring panels, and knitting some of the flowers in the summer, and now knitting leaves for this autumn panel.”

The group has grown over the past months and caters to all levels of knitting expertise. “We have people who started without any ability to knit at all,” Ms Lee said. “Our main thing is we do like to be involved with social projects. We have done things for people with dementia and hats for newborn babies.”

They meet every Thursday from 6pm at the Heritage Centre in Caledonian Park, and welcome newcomers.
