Our new interview with the RMT’s Mick Lynch – during which we asked him if he really trusted the Labour leader to follow through with nationalising the rails – sparked a particularly heated debate.

Mr Lynch, speaking at last week’s May Day march marking International Workers’ Day, said: “I know he’s going to do something but empty gestures are no good.”
