Does the country need a Labour Party?
Friday, 20th December 2019
• LABOUR has now lost four elections on the trot. It poses the obvious question, does the country need a Labour Party? To me it is out of date.
No doubt the party did well in the past but it has served its purpose. The contrast between Labour and Conservative is stark.
The Conservatives promote aspiration and hope while Labour goes on endlessly about poverty, benefits and the so-called disadvantaged, etc.
It’s all about misery. Listening to Labour one would think we are all going around dressed in rags like something out of Charles Dickens.
It is obsessed with the “workers” and still portrays the Tories as a party for the rich. Last Thursday 13 million voted Tory. All rich are they? Time to put the Labour Party out of its misery.
