A DRUG dealer who argued with a man near his home in Tollington Park last September has been convicted of murder.

David Odunuga, 32, from Brentwood, was found guilty of stabbing Brian Edwards, 53, three times. The verdict was announced at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.

Two of Mr Edwards’ friends told detectives that, on the night in question, Mr Edwards had left his house to meet a drug dealer before shouting for help.

Neighbours said they saw a man wearing a mask and rummaging in a silver vehicle.

Detectives linked Odunuga to the car through DNA found on the key, and analysis of the car’s movements.

Detective Chief Inspector Lucy Carberry, who was in charge of the investigation, said: “This is a stark reminder of the devastation drugs cause to communities across London.”
