Camden Elite Under-9s lift the GoCardless Summer Cup after beating Bloomsbury FC in the final

IT’S fast becoming a numbers game for all-conquering Camden Elite FC.

Six goals against Bloomsbury FC on Saturday saw their Under-9s side clinch the Camden Youth League’s GoCardless Summer Cup in sizzling style.

Hotshot Jerome Chung lit up the final with a scintillating hat-trick that would earn him the player-of-the-match award. Arthur Kearney chipped in with two goals, while Andre Santos Teixeira also found the back of the net in a 6-0 victory at Coram’s Fields in Bloomsbury.

That makes it four major honours that Elite have now added to their trophy cabinet in what has been an unstoppable summer, with the club’s Under-9s and Under-11s both winning two cups each.

Praising Elite’s heroes after watching them win all of their games to lift yet more silverware, club founder Sebastian Eurico said: “Jerome put in a clinical display to score his hat-trick, but we can only score six goals in the final if the whole team plays well – not to mention how well they all played in getting us to the final. It was a fantastic day.”
