ISLINGTON South MP Emily Thornberry was busy getting her winter flu jab this week.

The MP was at the Caledonian Pharmacy and said she wanted to encourage her constituents to follow suit and protect themselves from the bug.

“Neil, who runs Caledonian Pharmacy, was very helpful, and not only gave me my jab, but also gave me a mental and physical health check too”, Ms Thornberry said.

“I would encourage everyone to try and book an appointment at their local pharmacy, or GP, and get your flu vaccination to keep them protected this winter. As someone who has asthma, my doctor’s advice is that it is important for me to get vaccinated.”
