A FORMER journalist and Labour MP who led the campaign to free the Birmingham Six will speak at City University on the 50th anniversary of the IRA pub bombings.

Chris Mullin will talk about how he “tracked down the real bombers and the implications for the British justice” at the event in Northampton Square, Angel, on November 20.

He will be in conversation with Sarah Kavanagh, a former campaign manager at the National Union of Journalists.

Mr Mullin will be signing copies of his recently republished book, Error of Judgement.
