• AS a concerned parent, I attended the Town Hall children’s scrutiny panel meeting this week, where speech is not a given.

I observed people backslapping each other, yet my simple question as to why police don’t investigate issues with care places, such as drug dealing, was not classed as addictive to those in charge.

I wonder: is there an attempted cover-up, to present the services as better than they are? When are we going to have open and transparent criticism when the system is failing?
