Family school runs are made greener and safer
Entrances are revamped and a ‘continuous crossing’ is created

PLANT boxes, wider pavements and seating areas have been set up on school runs in a bid to make family trips greener and safer.
The council said it had revamped the entrances to St Joseph’s Primary School, in Dartmouth Park Hill and Highgate Hill, and laid down a “continuous crossing”.

The Hornsey Road entrances to Montem and Samuel Rhodes primary schools have also been revamped with new cycle parking and improvements to pedestrian crossings.
