Yayhe Ahmed was described as having “unique charisma”
THE father of the man stabbed to death in broad daylight in Holloway last Wednesday has called his death “incredibly painful”.
Dahir Socomin, a Somali businessman, said the death of his son Yahye Ahmed, 23, was “incredibly painful for all of us, yet we understand that destiny rests in the hands of Allah”.
“Undoubtedly, he possessed a unique charisma among my children,” he added, but said “accepting destiny is a fundamental aspect of the Islamic faith”.
Mr Socomin is CEO of an organic food and oil company called Nagaad, based in Kenya.
Mr Ahmed was stabbed on August 30 at 11.39am in Axminster Road, off Seven Sisters Road. Ibrahim Elkadmiri, 30, from Finsbury Park, was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Tuesday morning alongside a second man, Ahmed Abdi Ahmed, 33, from Crouch End, who was charged with assisting an offender.
Both men appeared at Highbury Magistrates’ Court that same day.
