Finsbury has long been a neglected area

• HAVING read your lead letter regarding the Finsbury Estate (Do people on other estates suffer the same way as us? September 9), we deeply sympathise with their plight.
The Finsbury area has long been neglected, considering the revenues the London Borough of Islington collect from this heavily-populated area.
We on The Triangle Estate have had to suffer considerably as we have no security measures at all, unlike all other estates. The cyclical works have been on hold.
Lack of repairs, appears to be a common neglect by the LBI, albeit their new-builds, appear to be mostly situated in Finsbury. So they can tick the box of more affordable accommodation without looking borough-wide.
When will this neglectful council analyse the deficiencies that they have ruled over? The Triangle has a great many problems, as do the other estates; but ours have been truly neglected.
