• PLEASE note that the assurances about the safety of the Bridge School’s evacuation procedures sought by the National Union of Teachers in the interests of staff, pupils and all users of the site were provided by the fire brigade as part of Islington Council’s very thorough review of public buildings in the aftermath of the Grenfell tower fire, (School cladding to be removed as probe into installation continues, September 21).
