THE Islington Tribune was first on the streets again with the constituency results for the third election in a row, beating the nationals and the Evening Standard to deliver the final scores in print.

Our 8am special edition, now an election tradition, was turned around at lightning speed so that people could get all the reaction to the dramatic night in their morning paper.

Hardly any other weekly local newspaper provides such a service.

Reporters had spent the night live tweeting and filing online copy as we brought you the breaking news before turning to the limited edition print run.
