THE man charged with the killing of a well-known flower seller in Essex Road will stand trial next year.

James Peppiatt, 21, was charged with the murder of Tony Eastlake (pictured) in June following the fatal stabbing in May.

The 55-year-old collapsed and died in the street shortly after finishing work.

Peppiatt appeared at the Old Bailey on Monday via video link but the case has been adjourned due to technical difficulties.
