• YOU have published letters against the immense cuts proposed in our North Central London’s NHS.

We now find the Sustainability Transformation Plan (STP) for five boroughs (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington) carries funding of £974,000 a year, but none of this funding to implement huge cuts has been allocated for any consultation with the public.

The STP is supposed to remain a “Secret Terrifying Plan”.

We now discover from the Socialist Health Association that the STPs are “new models of care” written by a private healthcare corporation and the international business elite at the World Economic Forum in Davos; in other words, American models of cheap care.

This is the government’s frightening way forward to provide non-specialist care, out of hospital, for older or disabled patients.
