• AS Donald Trump’s election victory has proved, if you lie often enough then some people will buy it.
Sadly some readers seem to believe conspiracy theory that low traffic neighbourhoods, will lead to being “cooped up” in 15-minute cities and fed insects (Blocked! Letters, April 18).

They need to question where the stories originate. They might find the dark forces at play here aren’t the councils (merely doing what’s right for the majority of citizens, not just car owners), but the same shady, right-wing, organisations that gave us Brexit, based on a pack of lies.
