Free day at new Institute of Physics centre in Islington
Institute of Physics is throwing open the doors of its new £30million building

THE public has been invited to a free event at a leading physics centre tomorrow (Saturday).
The Institute of Physics is throwing open the doors of its new £30million building in Caledonian Road near Balfe Road.
There will be soft drinks and snacks available from 11am till 3pm and with free science-based activities for children.
A video art installation piece from renowned Irish artist Grace Weir will also be displayed.
The building will serve as a hub for more than 50,000 members of the institute.
The institute is a representative body, providing funding and issue grants and awards to the likes of Brian Cox and Jim Al-Khalili.
