Garden Bridge to a greener city
Friday, 17th March 2017
• IF money must be spent on large-scale projects, then why not push on with the Garden Bridge, which would cost £40million if cancelled, according to the Mayor? It will at least green up the centre of London, which is what we desperately need.
HS2 rail project will pollute London and destroy scores of trees in its wake. It will be remembered as a white elephant like the Millennium Dome.
Why not have the terminus one or two stops out from Euston if it has to go ahead? Then the massive disruption can be avoided.
