Barbecue battle underway

• IT is laughable that residents around Highbury Fields cite concerns about “harmful air pollution” in support of their campaign when lots of the cars parked in front of their houses are heavily-polluting SUVs (Barbecues battle goes to court, September 15).

If they are really concerned about air quality why don’t they start by getting rid of their own cars and campaign for all the streets around Highbury Fields to be pedestrianised?
