A SCHOOL is opening its classrooms to girls for the first time in its 144 year-old history.
St Aloysius’ College in Hornsey Lane, Highgate, said it will implement the changes at the start of the next academic year.
Headteacher Paula Whyte said: “We are delighted to build on our tradition as a dynamic, inclusive and forward-looking school and very much welcome girls to join our thriving school in Years 7 and 8 from September 2024. I’m very proud to be at the helm of this hugely successful school that will now benefit an ever wider community.”
Open events stretch over 10 days from October 3. These include an open evening on Tuesday October 3 from 4.30pm to 7pm.
Boys and girls are already both enrolled in the sixth form.
