POLICE are appealing for help identifying two men following a violent gun robbery.
A 33-year-old was robbed of £200 and his sunglasses after being attacked while sitting in a car parked at B&Q in Holloway Road.
He had been waiting for a friend in the car park when he was hit in the head with the firearm.
It happened on July 14 after the Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park.
The victim suffered serious head injuries.
The other man police want to speak to
The two men – both around 6ft and thought to be in their 30s – being sought by police were shown in CCTV stills released this week.
Detective Inspector Julian Bates said: “What should have been a carefree and enjoyable day was instead ruined by a vicious robbery involving a firearm.
“We believe that many people may have been in the area at the time of the attack, either attending Wireless or passing through the area, and may have witnessed the assault.”
Those with information should contact the police on 101, quoting the investigation reference 01/7735123/25.
