ARSENAL are to start selling season tickets again in the hope that football supporters will return to stadiums at the start of the next Premier League season.

Around 10,000 fans – about a sixth of the ground’s overall capacity – will be back at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday as the Gunners play Brighton and Hove Albion in their final match of the current campaign.

Nearly all of this season’s matches have been behind closed doors due to lockdown rules. But with hopes rising that full houses will be allowed by the start of the new term in August, Arsenal will next week start contacting fans over buying season ticket renewals.

Refunds will be offered for any matches that fans are stopped from going to if the government brings in new restrictions at any time.
“Seat prices will be frozen for a seventh  consecutive  year,” the club said.

The Gunners are looking to shake up the squad after a disappointing performance over the past nine months. The highest the team can finish on Sunday is seventh.
