• YOU kindly published my letter about Peabody not carrying out repairs, (My landlord continues to ignore the repairs I need, July 24).

I don’t like to complain but I’m still unable to have a shower. I reported this problem at the beginning of summer, when I was told it wasn’t urgent.

Now it’s winter, the clocks went back at the weekend, and I’m living in the 21st century, so why shouldn’t I be able to shower?

Will I receive compensation? You bet I won’t.

Why should anyone living in an advanced industrial society have to live without a shower? Or have I become invisible since I’ve got older?

More questions than answers, as far as Peabody is concerned.
